This chilled out summer wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of. Held at The Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond, the place for summer weddings, Steph and Jack’s marriage and celebration is definitely one for the summer inspiration books.
The lads all got ready together at the stunning Petersham Hotel, overlooking the Thames (I mean, what a place to get ready!). It was such a swanky backdrop for Jack and his party to enjoy their relaxed morning of tying ties, fixing pocket squares, and having a laugh.
The bride and her squad started their morning as they meant to go on: over at The Bingham Riverhouse. They had the help of the talented Holly Ann, a Kent-based hair and makeup artist. She won a bunch of awards in 2023 – and deservedly so. Make sure you check out some of her amazing work!
From the stunner of an archway to the little buttonholes, the floristry was absolutely on fire at this wedding. Flora and Bee were the floral suppliers for S&J’s summer wedding, a Berkshire-based florist. She wove natural textures in so organically with huge pops of colour… Such a bit of me. It suited the outdoor ceremony, surrounded by trees, perfectly. I LOVED the dahlia table pieces too!
This outdoor ceremony was truly stunning – glorious sunshine, and happy vibes. The bridesmaids entered first ahead of the bride, in their silky olive green gowns. All the way down the aisle, there was sprinklings and bursts of colour, cleverly crafted by Flora and Bee.
Floral show-stopper was the flower arch, at the end of the aisle, which made an amazing backdrop to this chilled out summer ceremony. This couple had styled the whole wedding themselves, even the legal bit, to be true to themselves (something I’ll always preach here at NC Photography). Steph’s brother was the celebrant and they had friends playing acoustic music as she walked down the aisle. Super personal and meaningful, I mean, what could be more beautiful than that?
Steph and Jack had initially thought about confetti – which of course I support, because who doesn’t love a confetti shot more than me?!
But when the Bingham Riverhouse said it wouldn’t be possible in the gardens, well, this badass pair decided that nothing would ruin their summer wedding vibe. They went for bubbles instead!
This idea was so cute and playful, and I just love the joyful energy in these pictures. No one’s ever too old for bubbles.
This part of the wedding day at Bingham Riverhouse was *chefs kiss* … such gorg summer vibes here.
S&J had hired the wedding games pro, Dolly Dimples, a Hertfordshire based supplier who brought so much playful fun to this summer wedding.
Guests had a blast trying out the Coconut Shy, and the Strongman game while chatting and enjoying their pre-dinner drinks.
And what’s a summer wedding without ice cream? But not just any ice cream – this ice cream was served from a special bike, from Smiles Better, a wedding entertainment and props supplier. Seeing the guests enjoy the ice creams in the sunshine, what could be better than that? Way better than warm canapés on a hot day, IMO.
Steph and Jack kept the fun going right through the evening, from speeches to dancing.
They went untraditional with their wedding cake – ordering a donut tower from Cross Town Donuts. This was absolutely THE ‘cake’, after the summery festival vibe all day.
Thanks for being such a fun pair!
